Through easy step-by-step tutorials anyone as young as 8 (as long as they can reach a foot pedal) can learn to thread up & use a sewing machine to repair, alter or upcycle their own stylish clothes and accessories from unwanted textiles.
I’ve spent the last decade working on new, easy techniques and simplifying methods relevant to a new generation. Hundreds of fashionable, useful & completely sustainable pieces have been made in my studio by young makers.
My aim is to create a place for people aged 8-80 to learn new skills, share their ideas and even sell their upcycled makes. I want to inspire & teach people how to live a more sustainable lifestyle.
